Team

Octavio Salinas is an accomplished ESG professional with extensive experience working with leading companies in Latin America. With a deep understanding of the intricacies of sustainability management, Octavio has demonstrated his leadership in designing, planning, and coordinating ESG programs for a diverse set of industries.

His expertise covers a wide range of sustainability topics, including risk management, net-zero strategies, greenhouse gas emissions reduction, and diversity and inclusion initiatives. Octavio has also worked with a variety of reporting frameworks such as GRI, SBTi, TCFD, SASB, and SDGs, enabling him to provide tailored sustainability solutions to his clients.

Octavio’s in-depth knowledge of corporate sustainability assessments, such as S&P, FTSE, GEI, MSCI, and Sustainalytics, has allowed him to assist companies in developing sustainable business practices that improve their long-term performance while minimizing their environmental impact.

that ESG is not only a competitive advantage that generates long-term value creation for businesses but also contributes to improving their overall performance. As a highly motivated ESG professional, he is committed to ensuring that his clients are equipped with the necessary tools and strategies to achieve their sustainability goals while driving positive change in their respective industries.

Octavio is an accomplished professor who has devoted his career to researching, teaching, and advising on topics related to sustainability, corporate governance, and business ethics. He earned his Ph.D. with a scholarship and has since become an Associate Professor at the Top-Ranked EGADE Business School in Mexico, where he shares his expertise and passion for sustainable business practices with his students.
